1. 小姐，你能告訴我怎麼使用ATM（自動提款機）嗎？ Xiǎojiě, nǐ néng gàosù wǒ zěnme shǐyòng ATM（zìdòngtíkuǎnjī）ma？ Hello, Miss. Please tell me how to use the ATM（Automatic Teller Machine）.

2. 請問你是要提款嗎？ Qǐngwèn nǐ shì yào tíkuǎn ma？ Are you going to withdraw money？

3. 是的，我需要提一些新臺幣。 Shìde, wǒ xūyào tí yìxiē xīntáibì. Yes. I need to withdraw some NT dollars.

4. 你先插入金融卡，再選擇語言，中文或英文。 Nǐ xiān chārù jīnróngkǎ, zài xuǎnzé yǔyán, zhōngwén huò yīngwén. First insert the ATM card, and then choose the language, Chinese or English.

5. 你現在先輸入金融卡的密碼，然後選擇交易項目。 Nǐ xiànzài xiān shūrù jīnróngkǎ de mìmǎ, ránhòu xuǎnzé jiāoyì xiàngmù. Now you enter your PIN, and then choose from the transaction menu.

6. 你先按提款鍵，再按金額鍵。 Nǐ xiān àn tíkuǎnjiàn, zài àn jīnéjiàn. Press the withdraw button then key into the amount.

7. 這筆交易之後，你要繼續，還是結束？如果是結束，就按結束鍵，取回金融卡。 Zhèbǐ jiāoyì zhīhòu, nǐ yào jìxù, háishì jiéshù？rúguǒ shì jiéshù, jiù àn jiéshùjiàn, qǔhuí jīnróngkǎ. Do you want to continue or to finish after this transaction？If you want to finish, just press the finish button and take your card back.

8. 我只要這筆交易。 Wǒ zhīyào zhèbǐ jiāoyì. I just want this transaction.

9. 取回金融卡，收取現金後，再選擇要不要列印交易明細表。 Qǔhuí jīnróngkǎ, shōuqǔ xiànjīn hòu, zài xuǎnzé yàobùyào lièyìn jiāoyì míngxìbiǎo. You can choose to print the receipt or not, after you take the card back and get the money.

目前利用自動提款機（ATM）提款、轉帳已經相當普遍了，除了簡單、快速，而且不必到銀行或是郵局排隊。一般來說，ATM跨行轉帳的手續費是17元，如果是發卡銀行存戶可享手續費優惠，甚至免手續費，詳細辦法依各家銀行規定。

臺灣地區的ATM多半有中文和英文兩種發音，如果因為操作不當，金融卡被機器沒收了，也不必擔心，可以利用旁邊的對講機，與銀行人員通話，或是到開戶銀行辦理領回原卡，也可以重新申請新卡。

Today it’s quite popular to use the ATM to withdraw money or transfer. It’s easy and fast and you don’t have to line up in the bank or in the post office. Generally, the procedure fee for ATM inter-bank transfer is $17 dollars. If you are the customer of the card issuing bank, you can have a discount or even non-charged. It depends on the banks.

There are two languages, Chinese and English for choice in the ATM in Taiwan. Once you operate incorrectly three times, the machine will seize your card. Don’t worry. You may inquire the bank clerk by the interphone aside. You may go to your bank to get your card bank after finishing the procedure. And furthermore you may ask for a new card as well.
